If you have questions or complaints about your journey, please contact the transport company with which you are traveling. They can provide more information on timetables, fares and refund requests, and you can also register a complaint or report the loss of an item.

- Forgot to check out with your OV chip card?
Go to www.uitcheckgemist.nl and request a refund in 3 steps.
- Forgot to check out with your own debit card?
Go to the "Manage Yourself" page on the OVpay website. Enter the payment reference for your trip. You can find this on your bank statement. Enter the debited amount shown. Click "Search Trip." Click "Adjust Check-in or Check-out" and follow the steps.
You cannot check in because the last payment with your debit card was not successful
So you have to buy a ticket from the bus driver. Prevent this from happening again on your next bus trip with the following 3 solutions:
- Pay for your journey in the OVpay app or on www.ovpay.nl
When you open the app or look up your journey on the website, you’ll see a message indicating that an amount is outstanding. Once you pay the amount, you’ll be able to check in again with this card after approximately 15 minutes. - Wait until the amount has been deducted
This will be attempted at least four times, spread over several days. If the deduction is successful, you can travel again using your payment card. - Hold your payment card against the card reader
You’re not checked in yet, but OVpay is now trying again to deduct the amount. If successful, you’ll be able to check in again with this card after approximately 15 min.
